Lucknow: Doorstep delivery will be done to ban black marketing in Uttar Pradesh, and to deliver food grains to the Kotdars in less time and cost. In the first phase, it is being set as pilot planning in Saidabad and Shankargarh of Prayagraj, Atra and Tindwari of Banda and Bhojpur blocks of Moradabad. After being successful, all the vendors of the state will be connected to this.

Food Commissioner Manish Chauhan said in his statement that the mandate has been issued in this regard. Under this scheme, food will not go to the godown located in the block. It will not have to be transported to two sections. Department officials have been asked to prepare a route map to implement the plan in all cities. Normal ration distribution will be run in the state till August 14. According to the officials of the Food and Logistics Department, the normal delivery is being done from August 5 to 14.

Wheat is being distributed to all beneficiaries at the rate of Rs. 2 per kg and rice at Rs. 3 per kg on 5 kg per unit ration card. Each will be given 2kg of rice and 3kg of wheat. In the second distribution cycle, the free ration will be distributed on 21 July to 30 July under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana and Self-Reliance Scheme. This will prevent black marketing.
