Recently, reports have revealed that the famous Japanese manga artist Fujiko Fujio A has passed away. Fujio A, known for his famous children's cartoons including Ninja Hatori and Little Ghost Cue-Taro, breathed his last at the age of 88. This was reported by local media on Thursday.

The artist's real name was Motu Abiko, who has been found outside his Tokyo home on Thursday. As soon as the news of the artist's demise came out, many artists and celebs are seen paying tribute to him on social media. Abiko's father was a monk in a historical temple in the central Toyama area. Abiko was his eldest son. But after his father's death, he left the temple with his family. At that time he was in the 5th grade.

Talking to the media in 2020, Abiko had said that "the death of my father changed my life the most. If he hadn't died, I think I would have been a monk. Fujiko Fujio A had become friends with Hiroshi Fujimoto during high school, after which he made the much-talked-about cartoon Doraemon of Japan, and then after the success of the cartoon, the pair started working together.
