Bollywood's famous filmmaker Karan Johar announced the making of the sequel to the comedy film Dostana 2 last year. The cast of the film was also finalized with Kartik Aaryan, Jahnavi Kapoor, and Lakshya Lalwani in the lead roles. Lakshya is making a Bollywood debut through this film. But on Friday itself, everyone was shocked to hear the news that Kartik Aaryan is no longer a part of this movie. Kartik has been removed from this movie. After Kartik's exit from this movie, the names of 2 National Award Winning Actors are coming out which may be a part of this film.

According to the reports, the producers want to work back with this film, which was their first choice and that is Rajkummar Rao. Apart from this, it is also known that Vicky Kaushal is also being seen for this movie. By the way, Vicky was shooting for Mr. Lele before he was infected. Now that his report has come negative, he will be back at work soon. Apart from this, Vicky has 2 films on which work is going on. Now who will do this film between Vicky and Rajkumar, it will be known only when the producers announce it.

It is also known that 50 percent shooting of the film was completed in Mumbai and Chandigarh. The film was first shot in London, but then due to corona, the stars were afraid to travel, due to which the shooting of the film was completed in India. After exiting Kartik, the makers have released a statement. This statement reads, 'Due to professional circumstances we have decided to maintain a dignified silence. We will soon announce the new cast on this film directed by Colin D'Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon'.
