According to the report, private companies like Jio, Airtel and Vodafone can make their pre-paid plans expensive by 10 percent to 12 percent till Diwali this year, meaning if the price of a plan is Rs 100 then its price can be 110 to 112 rupees. . It is being told that telcos will benefit due to the tariff plan becoming expensive and their Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) will increase by 10 percent. After this increase, the ARPU of Airtel, Jio and Vi will be Rs 200, Rs 185 and Rs 135 respectively.

The same Jio has announced to give 1.5 GB data per day with free data and messages to its customers of Assam for 4 days.
