New Delhi: There has been another sensational revelation in the case of Pakistani journalist Nusrat Mirza coming to India and spying for the ISI. In a detailed statement, All India Bar Association chief Dr Adish Agarwal has accused former Vice President Hamid Ansari of concealing information and lying and demanded a government probe into it. Let us know that Dr Agarwal is also the head of the International Council of Jurists.

Ansari's office wanted Mirza to be invited to the conference, the statement said. When it was not accepted, they were also upset. The conference, which Dr Agarwal has claimed, was held on 11 and 12 December 2010 at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. Dr Agarwal also shared a photograph of a conference organised by Jama Masjid United Forum on the issue of terrorism on 27th October 2009 at The Oberoi Hotel in Delhi. In it, Ansari and Mirza, who are spying on India, are seen sharing the stage together. It is reported that several Muslim leaders including Hamid Ansari, Shahi Imam of Delhi Jama Masjid, National Conference (NC) leader Farooq Abdullah and others had attended the conference. Dr Agarwal has alleged that Hamid Ansari and his friend were breeding friendships with Pakistani journalist Nusrat Mirza at the Jama Masjid United Forum conference.

The statement said it appears that former Vice President Hamid Ansari and senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh have not disclosed in connection with the conference of Jama Masjid United Forum to mislead government agencies and the public. In such a situation, the government is urged to investigate the matter, as it is a matter of national security and espionage. The statement further said Ansari and Ramesh have only mentioned the international conference of jurists held at Vigyan Bhawan on December 11 and 12, 2010. Ansari attended the conference. But Nusrat Mirza was not called in. Even Nusrat Mirza has not mentioned this conference in his interview.

Dr Agarwal claimed that when the conference was being held, then Hamid Ansari was invited to attend it. Ashok Diwan was the Director of the Vice President's Secretariat at that time. Dr Agarwal said in a statement, "Diwan had told me that the Vice President (Hamid Ansari) wants Pakistani journalist Nusrat Mirza to be invited to the conference. But we could not accept this request, because Mirza was from the Pakistani media and we did not invite judges or lawyers from Pakistan to the conference.''

According to Dr Agarwal, when Diwan came to know that we had not called Mirza, he called me one day from the conference and expressed his displeasure. It was also reported that Hamid Ansari felt bad for not inviting Mirza and now he will attend the conference for just twenty minutes. Dr Agarwal said that initially, Ansari had agreed to participate in the programme for an hour.

Nusrat Mirza had spied on India:-

Pakistani journalist Nusrat Mirza made several shocking revelations in an interview on July 10, 2022. In an interview with Pakistani journalist and YouTuber Shakil Chaudhary, Mirza said that he had spied for Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI during his visit to India between 2005 and 2011. He was invited to visit India by former Vice President Hamid Ansari and Zafarul Islam Khan, owner of the 'Millie Gadget' newspaper. Mirza had also said that at that time, there were 56 Muslim MPs in India, who were his (Mirza's) helpers.
