New Delhi: The Central government seems to be concerned about the rapidly spreading black fungus in the country amid the global epidemic Corona virus. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has said that the black fungus cases that are coming to light have raised concerns. Dr Harsh Vardhan said that black fungus cases are coming from all corners of the country, all relevant information is being provided through government experts. Efforts are also being made to increase the production of its medicine. He also spoke about the current status vaccination of corona.

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan held a meeting with health ministers of 9 states and Union Territories on vaccination of the current status of corona virus through video conferencing on Friday. The Union Health Minister said that in the last few days, we have seen that the people who are getting vaccinated in the country have come down. We have to increase it, he said, 'I want to stress that we need to increase vaccination whatever vaccines are available with us, we have to give them as soon as we can. There will be a significant increase in production capacity in the country in the coming months.'

Dr Harsh Vardhan said there are 22,000 active cases in Goa. About 1200 new cases are coming up every day. The mortality rate in Goa is 1.59 per cent. 4 black fungus patients are admitted to Goa Medical College. Referring to Himachal, he said that himachal pradesh has 35,000 active cases, sample positivity is 9.57 per cent. Cases have increased in Kangra, Mandi, Solan, Shimla Hamirpur in the last one week.
