Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on Friday attended the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected MP for Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan and former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh at Parliament House.

Dr. Venkaiah Naidu said, "We are not going to be able to do that. Singh was sworn in for office and secrecy. Gehlot said, "We are not going to be able to do that Dr. Singh extended his greetings and best wishes on behalf of the people of Rajasthan.

CM Ashok Gehlot has said that it is a matter of pride for Rajasthan that former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh has said that it is a matter of pride for the people of Rajasthan. Manmohan Singh will represent the state in the Rajya Sabha. He said that Dr. Rajasthan will benefit greatly from Singh's experience and knowledge. Former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh has been elected unopposed as Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan.

The Rajya Sabha seat in the state was vacated following the death of Madan Lal Saini. The Congress has elected the upper house from this seat on the basis of a substantial majority, choosing the country and the Congress. The Rajasthan Congress hopes the selection will strengthen its stand in the Upper House and the Central Congress.
