Patna: Even before Deepawali, the Narendra Modi government gave a big relief to the people. In fact, PM Modi announced a reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel. RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has hit out at PM Modi as soon as he arrives in Delhi on the central government's decision. He called it a drama and said, 'They will raise its prices again after a few days.' RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav arrived in Delhi last Wednesday (November 3rd). He was accompanied by his wife Rabri Devi and son Tejashwi Yadav.

Let us also tell all of you that Lalu Yadav was not feeling healthy, so he has reached Delhi for treatment. When Lalu Yadav, who arrived at Delhi airport, was asked a question on petrol and diesel, he described it as a game. He said, "Narendra Modi's drama of reducing Rs 5 on petrol is bogus. Reduce by Rs. 50. It will not provide any relief, they will increase it again after a few days.''

On the other hand, Congress had also reacted to the central government's reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel. In fact, Congress termed the decision as a step taken due to BJP's defeat in the recent bypolls and said the prices of petroleum products should be equal to the price of the UPA government's time in 2014.
