Even though hundreds of countries, including the US, India, have stopped the economies due to lockdown due to the outbreak of Kovid 19 i.e. Coronavirus. But due to the reduction of industrial and human activities on a large scale across the world, the environment has improved in the last few days. Carbon emissions across the world have come down this year as much as 75 years after World War II. According to scientists around the world who collect carbon emissions data, carbon emissions can be reduced by 5 percent year after year.

For your information, let us tell you that Rob Carbon, chairman of the Global Carbon Project, which accounts for global carbon emissions, says that after the financial crisis of 2008 there was a reduction of 1.4 percent carbon emissions which can now be up to five percent.

Regarding carbon emissions, Jackson, a professor at Stanford University Earth System Science in California, said this year the carbon emissions drop of five percent or more is going to be amazing. This has not been seen since World War II. He said that no matter how big a crisis has come, whether it is the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the oil crisis or the debt crisis of banks, it has never had such a good impact on the environment. But this lockdown has stopped industrial units, airlines and all kinds of human activities. As a result, no crisis in the last 50 years has affected carbon emissions as much as lockdowns done in various countries to prevent coronavirus infection.
