New Delhi: NDA's presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu filed her nomination for the presidential election on Friday. He then spoke over the phone with Congress working president Sonia Gandhi, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and NCP chief Sharad Pawar and requested their support in the presidential election. It is being told that Mamata Banerjee has congratulated Draupadi Murmu for the presidential election. At the same time, she has said that she will talk to support her in her party.  

Earlier, Draupadi Murmu reached Parliament House on Friday. Here he filed his nomination for the presidency. During this time, PM Narendra Modi became their proposer. He filed his nomination in 4 sets. Apart from PM Modi, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Ministers and several senior BJP leaders were present. CMs of BJP-ruled states also attended the nomination of Draupadi Murmu. During this time, the unity of the NDA was also seen. Leaders of JDU, BJD were present during the nomination. Leaders of Jagan Mohan Reddy's party YSR Congress also joined the nomination.  

Who is Draupadi Murmu?

Let us know that Draupadi Murmu was born in Rairangpur village under Odisha tribal district of Mayurbhanj. Draupadi Murmu has also served as the first woman Governor of Jharkhand. He served as the Governor of Jharkhand from 18 May 2015 to 12 July 2021.
