Hema turned into the Ganga during her freestyle dance performance at the NCPA grounds. The actress' daughter, Esha Deol, shared a note praising Hema's unique stage act.

Sharing a stunning picture of Hema Malini dancing in the air in a blue and white outfit, Esha tweeted: "Watched my mother's dream girl Hema Malini perform Ganga on stage. Absolutely remarkable performance. Visually stunning with a strong message on our environment and river restoration. Watch their next show. "I love you, mamma."I've performed a variety of ballet dances all over the world, and people have enjoyed them. We're also representing our culture by painting our mythology in pure classical form, such as Durga and Radha Krishna. But in this ballet on the river Ganga, we cannot do a very classical dance. So, you get to see a very freestyle and beautiful dance.

Ahead of the event, Hema Malini had shared a video from her earlier performance to catch a glimpse of the Ganga. Hema Malini has described it as an idea of late politician Sushma Swaraj and said that "Basically it is a dance ballet on the river Ganga to spread awareness about the cleanliness of the river Ganga. It was Sushma Swaraj's initiative and she wanted it to happen in Benaras. "
