DRIP a.k.a. Prateek Vats, a music producer and DJ hailing from Dehradun, the school capital of India has been nominated in the list of TOP 25 DJs from Asia and Australia by EDMDROID based out of Hong Kong. Dehradun has time and again produced great many talents in all variety of felids like Raghav Juyal as a dancer and actor, Jubin Nautiyal as a singer and the list is never ending. And now DRIP brings fame to Dehradun in his field of EDM as an electronic music producer and a DJ.
EDMDROID annually holds these nominations from all around the continents of ASIA and AUSTRALIA, accepting votes internationally. Our correspondent asked Prateek Vats how he felt about his nomination to which his genuine reply was ' Am a very new Music Producer/DJ active only since 2017 in the field and am really glad to have been nominated for this title. ' Prateek Vats gives credit to Col. Naresh Chandra (father), Mrs. Kavita Sharma (mother), Maj. Akash Vats (elder brother), his managers since beginning Sam and Shijin (CEO and Founder SS Group of Companies) and none the less God. Drip released his after movie of India tour last year after which he rose to our list of the names known well in Indian EDM industry and also continues to spread globally. Working on his debut album, DRIP continues to tour around the country for college shows and as an official DJ to music festivals like Sunburn , Eat Love Party, Kasol Music Festival, La tomatina, Great Indian Beer Festival, Doon Oktoberfest and so on. DRIP also participated in LIC music festival for their contest of DJs.
Drip's playlist includes a combination of multi-genre music and his remixes of popular songs. Starting his professional career as a mariner, Prateek Vats was trained for a career at sea at Tolani Maritime Institue. Sailing globally from 2013 – 2016, in 2017 Prateek Vats returns from the sea to become a full time musician. As a mariner Prateek has travelled around the globe and now continues to travel as a performer. Prateek Vats in his free time enjoys playing with his dogs Parker (male G.S.D.) and Shree(female Cocker Spaniel ), reading, watching movies and hanging out with his friends. Currently DRIP is collaborating with artist like SLAYA, B-HARD and BURNIN for his upcoming album scheduled for the release by this year as an independent artist so far. Drip has named his album " DRIP-TRIP " and just like his playlist it is a multi-genre music album.
