New Delhi: From 01 April 2022 in the capital of the country, the driving rules for the drivers are going to change. In these, a provision has been made for fine for breaking the rule for the first time, FIR for the second time and punishment for breaking the rule for the third time. According to the information, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot announced in the Delhi Assembly on Tuesday that strict rules will be implemented for private buses, goods vehicles from April 01.
Kailash Gehlot said that if a bus driver does not drive in the bus lane, he will be fined Rs 10,000 for breaking the rule for the first time. If he does the same for the second time then a case of dangerous driving will be registered against the bus driver. The Transport Minister has also announced punishment for the third and fourth attempts of speeding by the bus driver.
He said that if the law is broken for the third time, the driving license of the offender will be revoked, while the fourth violation may result in cancellation of the permit of the private bus. Gehlot said that we will issue a WhatsApp number, where anyone who sees the bus driver violating the rules, then he can send his video to us. We will take legal action as per the evidence provided.
