Earlier, in Jamia Nagar last month, an elderly couple was found dead at their house were reportedly murdered by their son. The police officials came to know about the accused son after investigating the case. They say that their son was a drug addict and had been denied money to buy narcotics, hence he did this. 

Deceased son, Abdul Rehman, 22, is an animation designer with a diploma in the subject. Earlier he has fallen for a woman he met on Facebook and eventually had married her. Recently, he was demanding money from his parents to fo drugs and to stay married. 

According to the police officials, the deceased son was employed with a BPO. The salary which he gets was never enough as all of it used to go in obtaining drugs. Hence Abdul Rehman bothered his parents, Shamim Ahmed and Taslim Bano, to give him money.

Reports from TOI says that this is Abdul's second marriage and his first marriage had ended up a year and a half ago. When the body of his parents was found he accused his ex-wife over abetted their suicide. 

Later, he told media that his father had been charged under rape accused and hence he was suffering from depression, so he did this. Whereas the police officials found gape and holes in his statements.

With the further investigation, Rehman, during an interrogation broke and told that he had reached his house around midnight with his friends Khan and Guddu and choked his parents as the duo fastened them down on the bed. While leaving, Rehman joined the auto lock on the door and shut it. He then called up his relatives to say that his parents were not opening the door. They came and helped in breaking open the door.
