New Delhi: Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait's statement on Aryan Khan drugs case has surfaced. He said that there is an uproar over the finding of six grams of drugs, while the issue of drugs worth thousands of crores has disappeared. Tikait also raised the demand for closure of Adani's port. Farmers' leader Rakesh Tikait, who is opposing three new agricultural laws, launched a scathing attack on the BJP and the Modi government in support of Shah Rukh on the Aryan Khan case.
He further said, 'There are 21,000 crore drugs, didn't know who own it. 21,000 crore drugs can be brought to India by those who will be number one, number two and number three in India. Those who are rich. Only those can spend so much money on drugs. He said that if the drugs were found from Adani Port, they should be caught. Will you press the issue? Where are those drugs? Tikait further said that when six grams were found, it was organically attacked. 21,000 crore rupees worth of drugs were seized, which is not known. Adani Port should be closed, searched. Where it was found should be investigated. Who can be, it should be investigated.
The consignment of drugs that Tikait was talking about was caught at Mundra Port. 2,988 kg of heroin was seized from this port in Gujarat. Mundra Port is operated by Adani Group. Adani Group in its statement on the matter had said that heroin containers had reached the DP World Terminal at Mundra port. No port operator across the country can search the container. Their role is limited to running ports. Due to limited rights, the hands of the operators are tied. The report revealed that these drugs had reached Gujarat in India via Afghanistan and Iran. After which Adani Port took action and issued an important trade advisory. It said cargo from Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan from November 15 will no longer be landed at Adani Port.
