Mumbai: Amidst a narcotics control bureau (NCB) raid in Mumbai, big news has come from LOC. In fact, the Army has seized 25 to 30 kg of heroin and other drugs in Uri sector near the border. As per the information received, the value of heroin and other drugs seized is more than Rs 30 crore. There are reports that the drugs have now been handed over to the police.

This was disclosed by the Joint Security Force while conducting a special operation. They have busted a drugs racket under the same operation. According to reports, security forces have recovered 30 kg of drugs and recovered them from Uri town in north Kashmir near LoC late last Saturday night. Today, Sunday, Baramulla SSP said, "Security forces had detected some suspicious activities near the LoC. 

At the same time, the SSP also informed that "the drug peddler was monitoring the Movement of the Indian Army from a distance and as soon as he saw the armies, they left the drugs there and fled. At the same time, he added, "The Indian Army personnel took possession of it and handed it over to the police. Further investigation into the matter is underway. About 25 to 30 kg of drugs have been recovered. Soldiers have been alerted along the border and surveillance on LOC has been stepped up.’
