Gopalganj: On Monday, ASI chandra ram, who arrived in Gopalganj in Bihar to arrest a drunkard, was widely opposed by individuals accusing him of being under the influence of alcohol. The matter began to weigh in no time. Thereafter, the locals entered the police station premises and started creating ruckus. ASI Chandra Ram was arrested. Traders also joined the uproar by closing shops in Nagar Panchayat area. Superintendent of Police Anand Kumar ordered the investigation of Hathua SDPO Naresh Kumar. SDPO who reached the spot FIR and ordered arrest against drunk ASI Chandra Ram after which he was arrested.

What is the whole matter?

On Monday evening, a man had gone to buy medicine at a drugstore present at Pakha Mor of Kateya Nagar, under the influence of alcohol. In the meantime, there was a dispute between the drug shopkeeper and the person regarding some matter. Then the city councilor Santosh Prasad was called by the drug shopkeeper. It was still going on that Chandra Ram, the assistant sub-inspector posted at Kateya police station, was returning by the same route. Seeing the crowd, they got down from the vehicle and started catching the drunken man. Due to this ASI Moon Ram himself was intoxicated by alcohol. There was a dispute between the police and the people of the city regarding this. Then he reached home to catch the drunkard. Where he started fighting with women, the video of which has also been tweeted by RJD. This caused a lot of commotion.

Thereafter, ASI reached the police station directly from there and handed over the tahrir to The Son of Saheb Suman Kumar Mishra. As soon as Tahrir was received, he was protested by the people of the city when he reached the spot. After that, the residents of the city led by the city councillor started rounding up. Police then arrested four persons including city councillor Santosh Kumar late in the night. Thereafter, all shops in the city were closed for nearly five hours on Tuesday. The matter was resolved by the efforts of the people's representatives and all the people including municipal councillor Santosh Kumar were released by the police and the criminal ASI were arrested and sent to jail.
