Flowers are considered to be very important in the worship as said in our scriptures. They say that the flowers used in the worship are creating very high energy in the whole house, which results in happiness and prosperity in the house. While the dry and faded flowers are very unlucky.

These flowers are considered to be indicators of death. Apart from this, fruits, supari, rice, paddy and other worshipped material are also not considered to be good for keeping the house for a long time after worship.

Therefore, after the worship, the remaining items should be donated and dried flowers should be flown in the river immediately. It is not auspicious to keep the ashes of havan in the house as well.
