Cable service provider company DTH gave good news to its subscribers. Now subscribers will be able to subscribe and unsubscribe to the channel only by sending an SMS. This information has been given by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) itself. TRAI has instructed the operators of DPO i.e. distribution platforms to make this facility available to the subscribers within 15 days. According to the media report and the latest notification of TRAI, the request to add and delete any channel will be completed in 72 hours. TRAI has asked DPO to inform the users of all the channels and MRP on channel number 999. With this, users will not have any kind of confusion for the MRP of any channel. TRAI has said that DPO will have to provide this service to its users within 15 days. Along with this, it has also been emphasized that users should get the facility to add and remove channels through SMS within 15 days.

In the second screen, there will be a complete process of adding and dropping channels. With this, TRAI has asked the DPO to ensure that customers will be able to modify their channel list in TRAI's app, regardless of who is their operator only.
