Dubai: Dubai faced adverse weather conditions as heavy rainfall and thunderstorms hit various parts of the United Arab Emirates. The downpour led to significant waterlogging and flooding on roads, prompting authorities to issue advisories for residents to avoid beaches and stay indoors. The adverse weather conditions also had an impact on traffic and flight operations.

Social media platforms were flooded with visuals depicting the aftermath of the intense rainfall. Videos circulated online showed a man rowing a small boat on a flooded road, and other clips showcased waterlogged streets. The scenes highlighted the challenges posed by the unexpected weather event.

In response to the situation, authorities urged caution and advised people to stay away from areas prone to flash floods. The UAE's weather agency issued yellow and orange alerts to raise awareness about the ongoing weather conditions. Dubai municipality activated a preparedness plan to address rainwater drainage issues.

Considering the continued threat of rainfall, the government recommended that the private sector implement flexible working arrangements. This move aimed to mitigate potential disruptions caused by the inclement weather. As forecasts indicated the likelihood of more rainfall in the coming days, authorities remained vigilant in managing the aftermath of the storm.
