Bengaluru: Recently, a strange case has come to light from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, in which a person not only kept the account of money in the bill but also sued the restaurant for taking 40 paise more. According to media reports, this incident is of May 2021. A person named Murthy had gone to a hotel in Bangalore to have food. The bill for this whole meal was Rs 265. But the restaurant handed over a bill of 265.60 to Murthy. When Murthy asked the restaurant staff about this, he had no answer. After not receiving the account of 40 paise, Murthy accused the restaurant of robbing people.

Not only this, Murthy filed a petition in the consumer court on this matter and demanded a compensation of Rs 1,000 from the restaurant. However, this person's bet backfired on him and he had to pay a fine of Rs 4000. Meaning a fine of 10000 percent has been imposed on the person. Murthy himself defended his case in court. In the petition filed in the consumer court, Murthy said that he was deeply disturbed by the incident at the restaurant. He is shocked because he has paid more than the bill.

The hearing on the petition of the same Murthy went on for 8 months in the court. During the hearing of the case on Monday, the judges reprimanded Murthy. The court said that Murthy's petition is only wasting the time of the court. Along with this, the court also imposed a fine on the idol. He has been ordered to pay 2000 to restaurants and 2000 to the court as fine. The court has made it clear in its order that if Murthy does not pay the fine within 30 days, action will be taken against him.
