May 31, 2016: French PM Manuel Valls has slipped a trip to Canada next month to contract with the social unrest and rolling strike deed at home. As the reporter said, “Looming air and train strikes are threatening to bring chaos to France less than two weeks before the Euro 2016 football tournament kicks off, with unions standing firm today in demanding that controversial labour reforms are scrapped.”

As per his team said, “The prime minister's visit to Canada had been scheduled for June 15-19 but has now been put off "until the autumn". He also scheduled visit involved a meeting in Ottawa with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and trips to Montreal.

It is the second trip that Valls has delayed since the labour reforms row lighted. A visit to Australia and New Caledonia was postponed from March until untimely May.

Valls criticized in some political accommodations for visiting Israel and the Palestinian territories last week although the social turbulence at home was rising.
