Noted Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar was admitted to ICU after a heart attack. He was undergoing treatment in the ICU ward of Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru. Where he was declared brought dead. He is said to have gone to the gym this morning to work out where he suffered a heart attack due to chastity. He was taken to the hospital but the doctors lost consciousness when they saw his condition. According to reports, his brothers Shivraj Kumar and Yash were also gymming there.

According to a report received, actor Rajkumar was admitted at 11:30 am after complaining of chest pain. All efforts were being made to treat them. He was in critical condition. Dr Vikram Hospital. Ranganath Naik had said, his condition was bad when he was taken to the hospital. Puneeth Rajkumar was 46 years old. He was the son of veteran actor Rajkumar. Puneeth was last seen in 'Yuvarathnaa.' The movie was released at the beginning of the year.

He had finally tweeted at 7.30 a.m. Congratulated the entire cast of the film Bajrangi 2. Puneeth married Ashwini Rewant on December 1, 1991, in Chikkamgaluru. The actor first met his wife through a common friend. He has two daughters, Drithi and Vandittha. Puneeth was fondly called Appa by fans. He had acted in more than 29 Kannada films. He started his career as a child artist and won the Best Child Artist Award.
