Dulquer Salmaan is one of the renowned faces in the South Industry, The actor has recently appeared in Sita Ramam which became a major hit and the actor receives praise for his role from all over the country. The actor is all set to mark his Bollywood Debut with Sunny Deol’s film,  Chup: the revenge of the artist.

The actor in a recent interview opens up about Boycott trends in Bollywood, He said, "The boycott culture is overpowering these days because of social media. You can write anything (on social media), so people start writing things with their own agendas, without any responsibilities. There is no cancel culture in the south, we are hearing about it first in Bollywood."

In another interview, the actor also opens up about the harsh reviews and said, "I have often read a lot of nasty things about myself in reviews. People have even written that I should quit movies and I am not made for it. It's usually the same thing that I shouldn't be here. This is not my calling. It is really  Harsh.”

On the work front, Dulquer is currently basking in the success of his recent release Sita Raman, co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna. Upon its release, the film earned critical acclaim and performed well at the box office as well.   He is currently gearing up for the release of his next, Chup: the revenge of the artist, directed by filmmaker R Balki. The film also stars Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary and is set to hit theatres on September 23. The film is touted as a romantic psychopath thriller.
