Durg: These days, people in Durg city of Chhattisgarh are nervous about monkey terror. In the city, 3 monkeys had become so unruly that they were attacking humans and injuring them badly. About 10 people had become victims of these monkeys by now. Some were suddenly bitten by a monkey in the area, while some were attacked by a monkey in the house. A 55-year-old woman from Odisha had to be referred to Raipur from a hospital in Durg after her leg was badly amputated by a monkey.

The monkey had scratched the meat from the woman's leg. The injured woman has been identified as Ahilya Kakh, who had come to Durg at her daughter Sujata Soni's house. Sujata said that her mother had gone to a nearby shop to get milk at 8 am when suddenly the monkey came and cut the woman's leg badly and escaped. The woman fell there due to the monkey attack. The people around somehow rescued the woman and then admitted her to the district hospital. In view of the serious condition of the woman, the doctors feared that if the right treatment is not received soon, then the woman's legs may also have to be amputated.

At the same time, seeing the terror of monkeys, DFO Of Durg Shashi Kumar said that all three monkeys are male. The herd of monkeys had separated them from themselves, after which they became violent. He said, in the Kasaridih area some boys pelted monkeys with stones and harassed them a lot, after which they became so violent that they started attacking people. Later, a special team from Forest Department, Rajnandgaon and Raipur caught the three monkeys. The snake rescue king played an important role in catching the monkeys.
