Mumbai: Over 40 high-end cell phones were taken away by unidentified persons during a music festival at the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) here, police said on Sunday.
According to a BKC police official, several concert-goers complained to the police that their mobile phones were lost or stolen during Saturday night's concert at the MMRDA ground.
According to him, hundreds of people attended the concert after buying tickets online and the venue was packed.

Following the theft or loss of over 40 high-end mobile phones at the location, the police have registered four to five FIRs under section 379 (punishment for theft) and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

He said that the police were scanning the CCTV footage from the spot to trace the accused and take him into custody.
