Delhi Police has issued a statement saying that they have invoiced about 4,54,438 vehicles only for over speed. All these challans have been done during the lockdown period, in which it can be seen clearly how people have violated the traffic rules by seeing the empty road. Delhi is one of the cities where the maximum crowd is seen and there is a traffic jam for hours.

In their statement, the officials said that these 4.54 lakh invoices have been taken, the total value of which is about 90 crores, which is quite high. However, some of these people have also complained that if they have not gone out during the lockdown then how they have been fined. According to a senior police officer, over-speed challans are increasing rapidly in the city due to the empty road.
