New Delhi: Netherlands MP Geert Wilders has once again backed suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma after supreme court judge Surya Kant's remarks. He defended Nupur Sharma, saying she was not responsible for anything and should never apologise for speaking the truth about Prophet Mohammad. At the same time, two judges of the Supreme Court in India have held Nupur Sharma 'responsible' for the brutal murder of Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur.
I thought India had no sharia courts.— Geert Wilders (@geertwilderspvv) July 1, 2022
She should never apologize for speaking the truth about #Muhammad. She is not responsible for Udaipur. Radical intolerant jihadi Muslims are responsible and nobody else.
NupurSharma is a hero. #NupurSharma #IsupportNupurSharma
The Dutch MP tweeted on Friday (July 1, 2022) that "I thought India had no sharia courts. She should never apologize for speaking the truth about #Muhammad. She is not responsible for Udaipur. Radical intolerant jihadi Muslims are responsible and nobody else. Nupur Sharma is a hero.'' Wilders' tweet came in response to a reaction by some supreme court judges, in which he had told Nupur Sharma that his statement had set the country on fire. At the same time, the Supreme Court also held Nupur Sharma responsible for the violence and violence being carried out by the fundamentalists.
In another tweet, the Dutch MP had said, "Hindus should be safe in India. This is their country. It is their homeland. India is theirs. India is not an Islamic country.'' In early June, Wilders had supported Nupur Sharma, saying that criminals and terrorists indulge in violence on the street to express their religious intolerance and hatred.
