New Delhi: The country's rising badminton player Lakshya Sen has continued his brilliant performance and won the Dutch Open title. He won this title in the singles category. In the finals, he faced Yusuke Onodera of Japan. Which they defeated. In the final of the BWF World Tour Super 100 tournament, Lakshya defeated his opponent 15-21,21-14,21-15 in this match which lasted 63 minutes. The world number 72 won the Belgium Open title last month.

The goals looked a bit uncomfortable in the gain before the match. He reached the score of 10-11 and 13-14 but could not get the lead even once. Yusuke won the first game 21-15. In the second game, there was a tough competition between the two from the very beginning. The 18-year-old Indian won the lead 8-5, but the Japanese player bounced back. By the time of the break, the goals were only 12–11 ahead. However, the goal was followed by successive points and an 18–11 lead after which Yusuke could not return.

In the deciding game too, the goal took a 9–4 lead and reached 11–8 by the break. They won the game 21–15 after the break. After this victory of only 18 years, it is expected that he will make a place in the top 50 of the BWF rankings for the first time. Earlier, Lakshya Sen made it to the finals by beating Sweden's Felix Burstet 21-9,21-12 in a 33-minute match.
