New Delhi: Duti, who was once banned from participating in the Commonwealth Games, had changed her time in just 11 seconds by winning the gold medal at the World Universiad with her dedication and hard work, and now 'Time' magazine played an important role in shaping her future. It is among the 100 rising stars. It was in July when Duti Chand completed the 100 meter race in 11.32 seconds, beating the tall and tall rivals at the World Universiad in Napoli, Italy, and won the gold medal.

Prior to this, Duti earned some name by becoming the national champion in the 100 meter race, otherwise, Duti was not a big name among the country's runners. Duti comes from a backward rural area of the country, where there are no words like Asian Games, Olympic Games, Gold Medals and 100m 400m. The 'Baba' of Duti, who was worried about two days' bread, did not even know that he had hidden 'Lali' in the Guddi. Chand was born. Winning the gold medal in the global event with limited resources and nominal training and then making it to the 'Time' list is the result of Duti's insistence on never giving up.

Duti Chand has also been the victim of many controversies and criticisms in the early stages of her career. Duti, who came under criticism after revealing her homosexual relationship in May of the same year, had to fight a long and difficult battle in 2014 when her hormones (testosterone) levels were found to be higher than the prescribed limit due to hyperandrogenism and her hormone test. For the next few times, various things were talked about him and the thorns of his path kept growing. Despite all these misdeeds, she continued to run for the country. Finally, after a change in the rules, she returned with full force and won two silver medals at the Asian Games last year and won her silver medal. Despite all the failures, the hard working people keep their hands on the heart and keep comforting themselves that a good time is just about to come and for Duti, this time has come at the right time.
