New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party have once again openly come face to face in the politics of the national capital Delhi. Attacking PM Narendra Modi, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that earlier Prime Minister Modi used to sell tea in railway coaches, now he sold only railway coaches. They have put the country on sale. On the issue of posters, he said that in a democracy everyone has the right to put up posters. Big egos came and went.

Same today on 'Martyrdom Day', Bhagwant Mann remembered freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. The Chief Minister reached Bhagat Singh's ancestral village Khatkar Kalan to pay homage. Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were hanged on this day by the British Government after being sentenced to death in the Lahore Conspiracy Case. To pay tribute to his martyrdom, 'Martyr's Day' is celebrated every 23 March.

Let us tell you that on Wednesday, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has already announced the construction of an 850 meter long heritage street from Ajaib Ghar to Shaheed Bhagat Singh's house in Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had said that this street would showcase Punjab's glorious contribution to the national freedom struggle, which would inspire the youth of the state. He had said that not only March 23 but every single day is a symbol of fight against injustice, tyranny and oppression. It is the duty of his government to fulfill the dreams of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
