According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of earthquake felt in Mizoram at 1:14 am was 4.5. Its center is said to be 21 kilometers south of Champai. Earthquake tremors were felt in Nagaland at 3.03 am. Its intensity was 3.8. The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be 9 kilometers north-northwest of Wokha. Earthquake has occurred in Mizoram for the fifth day in a week. Earlier, earthquake tremors were felt on June 18, 21, 22 and 24.

Earlier on Tuesday, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale occurred 31 kilometers south-southwest of Champai. On 22 June, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga said that within 12 hours two earthquake tremors were felt in the state. A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck 27 km south-west of Champai at 4:10 am on 22 June. Earlier, on June 21, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 4.16 pm, 25 kilometers east northeast of Aizawl. At the same time, on June 18 evening, there was a magnitude 5.0 earthquake on the Richter scale, 98 kilometers southeast of Champhai.

The inner core, outer core, metal and crust are made up of these four layers. The crust is the upper layer of these, where there are dozens of interconnected plates. These plates keep on moving. Nothing is felt when moving a little, but the effect is known by moving too much. This is called earthquake. Where plates are attached, earthquakes are more due to more collisions.
