Leh: Earthquake has been felt in the Kargil area of Laddakh. The earthquake recorded a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale. According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake tremor has been felt in Kargil at 1 buzzer 11 minutes in the afternoon. Its center is said to be located 119 kilometers Northwest from Kargil.

Shortly after the earthquake felt in Ladakh, there has been an earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. The intensity of this earthquake that occurred at 2:00 pm has been recorded at 3.6. At the moment, there is no news of any loss of life or property. Earlier on July 1, there were sharp earthquakes in Jammu and Kashmir twice in a single day. The epicenter of the earthquake was Kishtwar. Earthquake tremors occurred at 11.32 pm on Tuesday. Tremors have also been felt in the Doda district. The earthquake has measured 4.6 on the Richter scale.

After the shock of the earthquake, people came out of their homes late in the night in a panic. However, there was no news of the loss of life or property in this earthquake. The earthquake had felt the same morning. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.0 on the Richter scale. The tremor was felt at 8.45 am.
