A light quake occurred in Narayanapeta district of Telangana at 9.40 am on Wednesday. Villagers from Utkur, Nidugurti, Chinnaporla, Pedda Jatra and other villages left their homes. The villagers said that the earthquakes were about observed for two seconds. No damage was done in any part of the district.

National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) officials are informed that the earthquake activities are being monitored in the area. In October this year, The Borabanda, Financial District, Gopanpalli and Gachibowli areas in Hyderabad were hit by heavy rains in the evening. NGRI micro-earthquakes were recorded at 0.8 on the Richter scale. In January, an earthquake occurred on the banks of the Krishna River in Suryapet district of Telangana.

Earthquakes also occurred in other districts of the state, including the old city, Bowenpalli and Ashok Nagar. According to NDTV, the quake shook The seizures in Seyma, Sedam, Wadi, Yadgir, Narayanapeta, Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar, Diosugur, Raichur, Solapur, Manvi, Mantralayam, Kurnool and Kollapur.
