Srinagar: Strong tremors of earthquake have been felt in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 3.4 on the Richter scale. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors of the earthquake were felt in the state Kishtwar at 12.09 am on Monday. As soon as the tremors were felt, people came out of their homes in fear.

However, no loss of life or property has been reported in the aftershocks of these earthquakes. Earlier on March 29, earthquake tremors were felt in the north of Alchi (Leh) in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors were felt at around 7:29 am. The earthquake was recorded at 4.3 on the Richter scale.
