Gwalior: Earthquake tremors were felt in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on Friday. The intensity of the tremors on the Richter scale was 4.0. It is being said that the earthquake occurred at 10.31 am. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km from the ground, 28 km from Gwalior.

Earthquake tremors have been felt today in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh. At 10:28 in the morning, people came out of their homes after feeling the tremors. There is panic among people due to rapid movement of doors, windows and fans. The estimated intensity of the earthquake has been estimated at 5.0. The epicenter of the earthquake was 11 km from Bhatgaon in Surajpur. Earthquake tremors were felt in Girjapur for 2 to 3 seconds. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Ambikapur, Ramanuj Nagar.

According to the geologist, the earthquake has originated from about 66 kilometers away from the surface of the earth. Although this earthquake was only for a few seconds, but due to this there is an atmosphere of fear among the residents of Surguja. People in Ambikapur have come under a lot of fear. Earthquake tremors have also been felt around Surajpur including Surguja. Cracks have also occurred in many houses due to the earthquake.
