On Monday; coast of Eastern Indonesia was banged by a high magnitude of about 6.0 as recorded by the U.S seismologists.

The US geological survey says, " The undersea quake hit about 190 kilometres (120 miles) northeast of Maumere, a holiday destination in Flores, at 09:13 am (0113 GMT), at a depth of 522 kilometres".

The authorities are looking if there has been any immediate loss of life or damage done to the nearby areas, till now no further warnings are issued. Indonesia experiences lot of tectonic activities due to its geographical position.
