Apple is one of the most nutritious fruits which reflect positively on our health. There is a saying also ‘ Apple a day keep the doctor away. Today we bring you an easy recipe to make delicious and healthy Apple kheer at home.
2 Apples, 1/2 Cup Basmati rice, boiled, 50 Gram Muscovado sugar (you can also use normal sugar), 60 Gram Cashew nuts and almonds, 1 stick Cassia bark or cinnamon to taste Red grapes.
1. First of all Chop 2 apples in cubes and put them in saffron infused milk.
2.Cook to slightly soften the apples, Now add 4 tsp brown sugar, 1 cassia bark /cinnamon stick and some cashew nuts and almonds. Bring it to a slow boil.
3.After some time add half cup of boiled rice, 2 green cardamoms. Turn down the heat and let the kheer simmer.
4.Now, garnish it with slices of red grapes and serve.
