Easy Sabudana Khichdi is a very yummy and tasty dish that you can make for your loved ones on any occasion, however, it is best suited when people are fasting. This easy recipe is made using sago, potatoes, roasted peanuts powder, ghee and sendha namak. With mild spiciness of green chilli and red chilli powder, this North Indian recipe will surely give your taste buds a different experience. Ingredients of Easy Sabudana Khichdi

1 cup sago

2 tablespoon ghee

1 tablespoon chopped green chilli

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon red chilli powder

1/4 cup powdered roasted peanuts

1 tablespoon cumin seeds

1/2 cup boiled potato

water as required

1 tablespoon sendha namak

How to make Easy Sabudana Khichdi

Step 1

Wash sabudana in water and then soak for 1 1/2 hour in a bowl. Then, drain water properly and spread in a cloth.

Step 2

Take a bowl, add the soaked dried sabudana along with coarsely powdered peanuts, sendha namak, green chilli, red chilli powder.

Step 3

Put a pan and melt ghee in it over low flame, add cumin seeds in it and let them crackle. Now, add crumbled boiled potatoes in the pan and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Then, add the sabudana mixture in the pan and cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 4

When done, switch off the burner and garnish the sabudana khichdi with lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot!
