This news will make you think again and again that having a daily portion of cheese could decrease the risk of fatal heart attacks and stroke, as per the latest study. According to researchers at the Soochow University in China, eating around one-and-a-half  (40 grams) of cheese every day reduces the risk of a heart attack by 14 percent. Cheese is rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins which help protect against cardiovascular disease. The research found that cheese raised levels of “good” cholesterol while decreasing levels of “bad” cholesterol. Cheese also includes an acid that can help avert clogging of the arteries, ‘Express.co.uk’ published. 

“There has been a lot of publicity over the last five to 10 years about how full fats raise the risk of cardiovascular disease and a belief has grown up that they must raise the risk, but they don’t,” answered Ian Givens, from the University of Reading in the UK. The study has been proclaimed in the European Journal of Nutrition. Not only this but some scientists have begun a new method to keep human hearts alive in a box outside the body for at least a day, an advance that may bring an end to people dying on the heart transplant waiting list.
