Maharashtra's economy is predicted to increase by 12.1 percent in 2021-22, with 4.4 percent growth in agriculture and related activities, 11.9 percent growth in industries, and 13.5 percent growth in the services sector, according to the state's economic survey report released on Thursday.
The state economic survey report, which was presented to the state legislature, predicted 3 percent increase in the agricultural sector, 6.9 percent growth in livestock, 7.2 percent growth in forestry and logging, and 1.6 percent growth in fisheries and aquaculture.
The survey shows, the gross state domestic product (GSDP) for 2021-22 will be Rs 31,97,782 crore, and per capita income will be Rs 1,93,121 in 2021-22, compared to Rs 1,96,100 in 2019-20.
Revenue revenues for 2021-22 were estimated to be Rs 3,68,987 crore, up from Rs 2,89,498 crore in 2020-21, according to budget estimates. Ttax and non-tax revenue, including Central grants, in 2021-22 are Rs 2,85,534 crore and Rs 83,453 crore, respectively.
According to the budget projection for 2021-22, revenue expenditure will be Rs 3,79,213 crore, up from a revised estimate of Rs 3,35,675 crore for 2020-21.
