South African country Ecuador registred 220,349cases of corona after the addition 1,201 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Public Health reported on Saturday that 10 new deaths  recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 9,593, in addition to another 4,584 probable deaths from the virus. According to the official statistics, high levels of contagion in 13 of the 24

Ecuadorian provinces, especially in Pichincha, where the capital of Quito is located. Quito is the most populous city in the country and registered 294 new cases of the virus in the last day, for a total of 71,641.

Meanwhile, India's COVID-19 tally on Sunday added 18,645 new cases taking the country total to 1,04,50,284. The new cases have stood below the 20,000 mark for the third consecutive day. The overall recoveries surged by 19,299 to a total of 1,00,75,950 cases. The active cases stand at 2,23,335, staying well below the 2.5 lakh mark. The death toll stayed below the 250 mark for the fourth consecutive day with only seven states and Union territories reporting new deaths in double digits.
