Mumbai: Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, who has been charged in the Rs 100 crore recovery and money laundering case, is facing increasing difficulties day by day. The Enforcement Directorate has now stepped up its action against him. In fact, the ED has sought help from the Central Investigation Department to find Anil Deshmukh. As per the information received, Anil Deshmukh is being summoned repeatedly by the ED but he has not come for questioning.

That is why this action was taken. Let me tell you that earlier Anil Deshmukh's lawyer Anand Daga and CBI inspector Abhishek Tiwari were remanded in CBI custody by the court for two days. He was accused of leaking the investigation report against Anil Deshmukh. In fact, on the basis of that leaked report, the news of Anil Deshmukh's innocence was spread. The duo was arrested by the CBI last week.

Let us tell you that Tiwari was in touch with Deshmukh's lawyer Daga and was leaking information related to the CBI report to him. Talking about Anil Deshmukh, he is not appearing for questioning at the ED office despite repeated summons. As a result, it is being said that the ED and CBI are now going to conduct raids to trace Deshmukh at different locations across the state. It seems that Anil Deshmukh's troubles are about to increase.
