Mumbai: Hrishikesh Deshmukh, son of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, was scheduled to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today in connection with a money laundering case as he was summoned. However, it has now been reported that he will not appear. In fact, Anil Deshmukh's lawyer Indrapal Singh has given this information. Recently, he has said, "Hrishikesh Deshmukh will not come before the ED today.''

It is said that today advocate Indrapal will come before ED and seek 7 days time and in the meantime, he will come before the ED after 7 days after talking to his legal team. Recently, Anil Deshmukh's lawyer Indrapal has informed that he will visit the office around 3 pm ED and will also give a letter to the ED to seek time. You all must be aware that the ED has summoned Anil Deshmukh's son Hrishikesh Deshmukh for questioning in the money laundering case. In fact, ED alleges that the money illegally deposited through transfer postings and other means was sent to Delhi-based Jain Brother using fake documents through hawala.

The ED also alleged that Jain Brother is allegedly a hawala operator and the money was then sent to Sri Sai Shikshan Sansthan in Nagpur and the institute is controlled by Deshmukh and his family. At the same time, it has been alleged that Jain Brother was working at the behest of Hrishikesh Deshmukh.
