The Education Minister Daljit Singh Cheema of Punjab said the education department will soon hire 2,005 teachers.

In order to get selected, the candidates should have cleared class 10 or class 12 from the Punjab State Board or from an institution recognised by the state government and should hold the primary teacher training certificate or equivalent as well as the maximum age of the candidates should be 37 years.

The last date for payment of application fee is today, August 30.

The candidates can submit the final submission of application by September 2.
