Kolkata: West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu has announced that a total of 14,916 posts of teachers will be created in the state, out of which 5,200 posts have been formed. The remaining 9,716 posts are yet to be completed. Actually, CM Mamta Banerjee does not want anyone's job to go, so the state government is forming new posts.
However, all will be appointed after getting the order of the court. Fraudulent appointments will also be cancelled. Along with this announcement, Bratya Basu has also urged the agitators seeking jobs to withdraw their agitation. Education Minister Bratya Basu said on Tuesday, 'The state government is ready to do all kinds of work in compliance with the order of the court. If the court says that everyone should be given jobs, then the state is also ready.'
Education Minister Bratya Basu has informed that the additional posts of Group C are 1,950. The additional posts of Group D are 6,300. Out of this, 1,980 posts have been created. 4,337 posts are yet to be created. There are 1,077 vacancies for teachers in classes IX, X and 2,300 in classes XI and XII. A total of 9,716 posts are to be created. Earlier 5,200 posts were created. He said that the appointment has been made without following the list. He said 'Like the court, the government also wants to solve all the complications as soon as possible.'
