Vaishali: Election strategist Prashant Kishor attacked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during his Jan Suraj Padyatra in Vaishali, Bihar. He said that the education system in Bihar was never very good, but the education system built in the last 5-6 years on the basis of upgraded schools and employed teachers is completely useless. Khichdi is being distributed in schools and only degrees are being distributed in colleges.

He said that some people believe that the education system has deteriorated due to the quality of teachers, but this is not entirely true. Even though the teachers are employed in the school, but the employed teachers are not teaching in the college, but even after this, studies are not going on there. Children go to the college once for enrollment, take the admit card for the second time, give the exam, then leave with the degree. The education system of Bihar has collapsed despite the presence of an educated person like Nitish Kumar as the Chief Minister. Whenever the history of his tenure will be written, education will be seen as the biggest black chapter.

Attacking Nitish Kumar a day ago, Prashant Kishor had said that two new industries have started in Bihar – liquor mafia and sand mafia. He said, "The liquor mafia and the sand mafia were not on such a large scale 5-7 years ago, as they have become today." Today liquor and sand worth lakhs of crores of rupees are being looted in Bihar. People from bottom to top are mixed in it. Liquor shop is closed in the name of prohibition but home delivery of liquor is being done from door to door. Prashant Kishore surrounded Nitish even on the plight of farmers in Bihar. He had claimed that 60 percent of the people in Bihar do not have their own land and are doing farming only to feed themselves. Of the 40 percent people who have land, 35 percent of them have less than 2 bighas of land.
