Kolkata: Bollywood actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty on Friday (June 2) targeted the Mamata Banerjee government over the education system of West Bengal. Chakraborty addressed the Lead Bengal Students Conclave organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), South Bengal, in Kolkata on Friday and answered questions from ABVP supporters.

Responding to a question about the status of bengal's education department, Mithun Da said that the education system of Bengal has reached close to cremation ground. Mithun Chakraborty said, "I was in the Congress Student Council. I have no agenda. I am a cadre. But there is no need to say here that I joined other politics later. I can give you a dialogue. I am not a leader. The actor and BJP leader said if you want to live, you have to fight. The desire to live is great."

"I believe in talent over failure," he added when asked what is the measure of success. "Look at your face clearly in the mirror. That's success. The mirror does not lie. Everyone helps everyone, but you have to go with luck," he said, adding that today all political leaders need to be educated.
