New Delhi: Great news has come out for egg enthusiasts. Egg prices have started falling before the winter season starts. In the last four days, the shocking rates have come down. Of course, Navratri is over now but a big reason behind the decrease in egg prices is being told only on 9 days of Navratri.

However, the shocking thing is that even at the time of Navratri, eggs were being sold expensively. During this time, not only eggs but also the prices of chicken fall. It is a matter of relief that due to Corona epidemic and lockdown, eggs were being speculated to be expensive in winter. Egg wholesaler, Rajesh Rajput of Manya Traders told the media that during a week the price of 100 eggs in the wholesale market was running up to Rs 538. After this, the price of eggs came straight to Rs 490.

He told that 100 eggs were sold for Rs 465 on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the price of eggs was Rs 462. But the reality is that in view of the stock, the price of eggs in the open market fell by Rs 440 on Wednesday. It is a different matter that retail shoppers have not yet given relief to their customers by reducing prices.
