People of the religion of Islam celebrate the birthday of Prophet Hazrat Mohammed as Eid-e-Milad-Un-Nabi or Eid-e-Milad. If you consider the Islamic calendar, then this festival celebrates the 12th day of Rabi-ul-Awwal on the third month. People do not understand anything about its exact date and are confused about it. Eid-e-Milad is going to be held from the evening of 29th October till the evening of 30th October, whereas in India this festival will be celebrated on 30th of October.

If we consider the Islamic lunar calendar, the month of Rabi-ul-Awapal has started in India from October 19. In India as well as in Pakistan and Bangladesh, the 'Daawat' of Eid-e-Milad-Un-Nabi will be given on October 30. On this day people of the community take out a procession in memory of Prophet Mohammad, but this year it will not happen.

Prophet Mohammed was born on the 12th of 571 AD in the Arabian city of Mecca. It is said that his father died before he was born. His mother died when he was 6 years old. After the death of his mother, Prophet Mohammad began living with his uncle Abu Talib and grandfather Abu Muttalib. It is said that Prophet Mohammad was against idol worship or worshipping any images. Due to this, even today no picture or idol of him is found.
